The collaborative dreampunk duo of telepath and HKE follow up their landmark 'Birth of a New Day' with a significantly darker, more expansive journey. The record largely abandons distinct vocal samples, relying on deep, pulsing ambient techno, swelling synthesizers, and the persistent, cinematic sound of rainfall. It evokes a brilliant, deeply immersive atmosphere of a neon-lit, dystopian metropolis.
