Ashes Grammar

Recorded across various ad-hoc locations including a dance studio and a gymnasium following the departure of their original vocalist, the band's sophomore album is a sprawling, fragmented masterpiece. The 22-track record violently chops up gossamer, ethereal vocal harmonies and buried pop melodies, restructuring them via erratic dance-music editing and walls of distortion. It remains an incredibly ambitious, surreal milestone in modern experimental pop.
