Garbology
by Aesop Rock & Blockhead
Born out of creative stagnation following the death of a close mutual friend, the underground hip-hop veteran entirely yielded production duties to his longtime collaborator for the first time on a full-length album. The project is heavily rooted in dusty, eclectic sample chops and Aesop Rock's signature hyper-dense, highly visual wordplay. The concept of the record revolves around finding artistic value and philosophical meaning in discarded things.
