The record scales back the abstract electronic experiments in favor of acoustic guitars, Britpop-influenced vocal melodies, and classic verse-chorus structures—albeit violently filtered through his signature hyper-digital distortion. It acts as an accessible, surprisingly organic counterpart to his more abrasive material.
