Recorded live at the Sharjah Biennial, this work translates the group's dense, repetitive style into a more ritualistic and atmospheric context. The title references the Sufi practice of 'Sama', reflecting the music's spiritual and meditative aspirations achieved through extreme technical precision and endurance. It marks a transition toward a more cinematic and ominous sonic profile, further deconstructing the traditional boundaries of post-bop and ethno-jazz synthesis.
