Never the Right Time

Continuing his decade-long creative partnership with vocalist Alison Skidmore, the Manchester producer constructed a brooding, late-night masterpiece of bass-heavy electronic music. The project pivots slightly away from the punishing post-industrial noise of his earlier work, favoring sludgy dub rhythms and ethereal, heavily processed pop melodies. It is a masterful exercise in tension and nocturnal atmosphere within modern dubstep.
