Too Many Voices

The Manchester-based producer significantly alters his incredibly dense, grayscale dub-techno sound by adopting a Yamaha FM synthesizer as his primary instrument. The record features a surprisingly cold, glossy, and futuristic atmosphere heavily inspired by early grime instrumental tapes. Alison Skidmore's ethereal, wordless vocals remain a haunting anchor amidst the jagged UK bass rhythms.
