Los Angeles-based saxophonist and electronic producer Brian Simon spent a month in a remote Italian villa to conceptualize this incredibly peaceful, highly meditative instrumental album. The deeply organic record heavily loops his breathy, jazz-inflected saxophone melodies over subtle, warm synthesizer beds and gentle field recordings. It is widely celebrated within the ambient community as a gorgeously minimal, profoundly calming auditory experience.
