Metztli

Serving as a highly ambitious cinematic conceptual project, 'Metztli' is the third studio album from Mexican symphonic metal artist Anna Fiori. Produced by Within Temptation keyboardist Vikram Shankar, the record fuses modern power-metal energy with pre-Hispanic Aztec instrumentation and soaring, operatic vocals. Lyrically, the album's title tracks, named after the Nahuatl word for 'Moon', guide the listener through a deeply emotional narrative map of grief, loss, and survival.
