Odyssée

The sole album from this obscure French ensemble delivers a dense, highly anxious brand of progressive rock heavily indebted to King Crimson's mid-70s output. Driven by heavily distorted, Fripp-esque guitar work and chilling analog synthesizers, the largely instrumental record creates a distinctly dystopian, science-fiction atmosphere. It is widely considered one of the darkest and most technically formidable one-off projects of the European symphonic scene.
