Enola Gay
by Asia Menor
Originally formed as Enola Gay in 2018, the band from Temuco, Chile, renamed to Asia Menor before releasing their debut full-length, which retains the original band name as its title. The album was recorded amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, a process which delayed its eventual release. Produced by Víctor Muñoz, 'Enola Gay' is characterized by its technical musicianship, including shifting time signatures and dissonant textures, which explores lyrical themes of stress, self-sabotage, and trauma.
