Joel Shanahan crafts a remarkably lush, hardware-driven collection of lo-fi house and foggy, ambient techno. Drenched in tape hiss and analog warmth, the persistent, thumping beats are constantly submerged beneath thick layers of melancholic, decaying synthesizer pads. The project evokes a distinct feeling of late-night isolation and subterranean club nostalgia.
