Korean Love Sonnets
by bela
Drawing from the Korean folk percussion tradition of Pungmul, 'Korean Love Sonnets' recontextualizes traditional rhythms within a hyper-modern club environment. The artist uses high-velocity transients and distorted sub-bass to explore themes of queer identity and cultural fragmentation. The resulting work is both a sonic assault and a deeply personal narrative of belonging.
