Continuing to refine their utterly monolithic approach to volume, the Montreal trio produced an intensely repetitive, feedback-drenched exploration of minimalist metal. Utilizing agonizingly slow tempos and massive walls of sustaining guitar distortion, the project forms a terrifyingly dense backdrop for Robin Wattie's strained, vulnerable vocal cries. It further solidified their unique, highly emotional stance within the typically abrasive drone metal landscape.
