Following their landmark 'Undercurrent' session, pianist Bill Evans and guitarist Jim Hall reunite for another conversational set of duo recordings. The absence of a traditional rhythm section forces an intricate, highly responsive interplay where both musicians alternate between subtle chordal accompaniment and fluid, melodic leads.
