German sound artist Marc Richter constructs a terrifying, intensely dark electroacoustic journey for his Thrill Jockey debut. The record manipulates fragmented orchestral samples, distorted drone frequencies, and ritualistic percussion to evoke a deeply surreal, apocalyptic atmosphere. It is an overwhelmingly dense, nightmarish exploration of sonic decay and aggressive ambient noise.
