Bodysongs

‘Bodysongs’ is the debut album from Born Gold, the solo project of Canadian musician Cecil Frena following his work in Gobble Gobble. The record’s maximalist blend of hyperpop, glitch pop, and indietronica anticipated later internet‑era pop mutations, layering frantic vocal samples over synthetic, ecstatic beats. Released on the cassette‑oriented label Crash Symbols, it captured the raw, unpolished energy of early 2010s bedroom production.
