Agonia
by Chiello
Chiello's fourth album 'Agonia' explores themes of fragility, solitude, and emotional introspection, building on the melancholic mood of its lead single, "Ti penso sempre," which competed at the 2026 Sanremo Music Festival. The record, whose title translates to 'Agony,' features a sound that blends introspective songwriting with an atmospheric and vulnerable approach, influenced by a recording process that took place partly overseas. Rejecting commercial trends for a more artistically faithful work, the album digs into human frailties with a style that is both intimate and emotionally raw, a concept mirrored in its cover art taken from Todd Hido’s photographic series “House Hunting”.
