'Elipse' is a conceptual album structured as a single, continuous suite that advances the band's fusion of experimental hip-hop and jazz. The album's production marks a notable shift by replacing keyboards with the prominent use of alto sax and flute, which contributes a paranoid and atmospheric texture over the dense, organic instrumentation and rhythmic vocal delivery. Thematically, the work explores a cyclical philosophy through its uninterrupted composition and contains politically charged lyrics that critique systemic repression and deception.
