Bloodmoon: I

A collaborative project with Chelsea Wolfe, her bandmate Ben Chisholm, and Stephen Brodsky, 'Bloodmoon: I' expands Converge's sound into slower, more atmospheric and melodic territory. Produced by guitarist Kurt Ballou, the album trades some of the band's trademark metalcore velocity for a grander, more layered approach that fuses post-metal, doom, and gothic elements. The result is a collection of sprawling, dramatic compositions built on the dynamic interplay between Jacob Bannon's harsh vocals and Wolfe's ethereal, sorrowful singing.
