Dark Night of the Soul

Originally delayed due to a fierce legal dispute with EMI, this collaborative project was initially leaked online and sold as a blank CD-R packaged alongside a 100-page photography book by David Lynch. The music features Mark Linkous's heartbreakingly fragile songwriting paired with Danger Mouse's pristine, atmospheric production, utilizing a staggering lineup of guest vocalists including Iggy Pop and David Lynch himself. It tragically served as one of Linkous's final projects before his death.
