Entirely self-produced by the Canadian duo over a tight five-week period in Los Angeles, their fourth album serves as a modernized distillation of their aggressive dance-punk sound. The record divides itself neatly between chaotic, heavy bass-driven punk tracks and moodier, heavily synthesized alternative dance. The incredibly raw, fuzz-heavy production proved the band could still easily conjure the primal energy of their beloved 2004 debut.
