Dinosaur

Before defining the sound of late-80s alternative rock, the band debuted with a ragged, lo-fi collision of hardcore punk pacing and country-inflected melodies. J Mascis's distinctively drawling vocals and heavily distorted, wah-soaked guitar solos cut through the raw, energetic rhythm section. 'Dinosaur' is a noisy, highly psychedelic introduction to their legendary, slacker rock aesthetic.
