Under Tangled Silence

On 'Under Tangled Silence', Djrum weaves a vast electronic tapestry from genres spanning ambient, jazz, and jungle, grounding the production in his own live, improvisational performances on piano, harp, and mbira. Featuring cellist Zosia Jagodzinska, the album's intricate, non-quantized rhythms and detailed sound design were fundamentally shaped by its re-creation following a catastrophic data loss, a process that informs its themes of transformation and memory.
