Formed by members of Tomb Mold and Innumerable Forms, the duo's sophomore effort fundamentally transforms the often-bleak death-doom genre. It contrasts crushing, slow-motion extreme metal riffs with staggeringly beautiful, 1980s-inspired psychedelic guitar leads and ethereal clean vocals, creating a remarkably uplifting and surreal atmosphere.
