Originally conceived as an audio accompaniment to his contemporary art exhibition in Paris, the Nigerian sound artist brilliantly layered his extensive field recordings of Lagos over electronic ambient dub rhythms. The album captures the chaotic, vibrant ambiance of the city—featuring traffic horns, market chatter, and heavy rainfall—anchored by pulsing, hypnotic 808 basslines. It operates as a beautifully immersive, highly rhythmic auditory portrait of the Nigerian metropolis.
