Transitioning out of the harsh noise underground, this early release from the Cleveland trio showcases their developing mastery of shimmering, Kosmische-inspired analog synthesizer drones. Consisting of two extended, slowly evolving pieces, the album creates a vast, meditative atmosphere that relies heavily on arpeggiated tape loops and sweeping guitar textures. It signaled their eventual massive ambient crossover success.
