This obscure German ensemble bypasses the experimental Krautrock scene entirely to deliver a lush, highly polished symphonic rock album indebted to Genesis and Renaissance. Heavily dominated by shimmering Mellotrons, synthesizers, and ethereal female vocals, the record is unabashedly romantic and melodically grandiose. Though largely ignored upon its initial release, it has cultivated a strong following among dedicated symphonic prog enthusiasts.
