Trisagion

'Trisagion' is a work of atmospheric black metal and funeral doom, constructed across three extensive compositions that total over an hour in length. Project mastermind Joseph Hawker, joined by session musicians on drums and bass, builds vast, emotive soundscapes that blend furious blast beats and tormented shrieks with somber, reflective passages of piano, viola, and acoustic guitar. The production creates a dense and layered sonic environment, while the album's themes explore personal trauma, resentment towards fascism, and esoteric emotions in response to a crumbling world.
