Limpid as the Solitudes

Collaborating by sending audio files back and forth across the Atlantic, the French avant-garde artist and the American ambient musician constructed a gorgeously fragile set of electroacoustic soundscapes. The highly improvised, purely textural album weaves shimmering synthesizer drones and piano with highly obscured, whispered vocal poetry and subtle field recordings. It is an intensely calming, deeply hypnotic exercise in electroacoustic collaboration.
