3001: A Laced Odyssey
by Flatbush Zombies
The Brooklyn-based rap trio officially marks their studio debut with a dark, deeply cinematic hip-hop odyssey heavily inspired by Stanley Kubrick and classic psychedelic rock. Erick the Architect's production is woozy and bass-heavy, providing an ominous landscape for Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice to deliver their chaotic, drug-laced horrorcore verses. Released independently, it debuted inside the top ten of the Billboard 200.
