Skinty Fia

On their third album 'Skinty Fia', Fontaines D.C. channel their experience as Irish expatriates in London, exploring themes of cultural displacement, identity, and political tensions. The band expands its post-punk sound into more atmospheric and cavernous territory, with producer Dan Carey guiding their integration of textures inspired by electronic music, shoegaze, and traditional Irish instrumentation like the accordion. The resulting work is a measured and reflective collection that became the group's first album to reach number one in the UK and Ireland, earning a Brit Award for International Group.
