This debut release single-handedly catalyzed the distinctively patriotic and historically focused black metal scene in Quebec. Fusing raw, traditional blast beats with sweeping, melancholic tremolo melodies and ambient interludes, the sound captures the harshness of the Canadian winter. The lyrics and conceptual themes are exclusively dedicated to regional folklore and French-Canadian nationalism.
