Syren

Gafael's 'Syren' is built from field recordings of North Wales' coastlines, processing the sounds of waves and streams into a tactile, atmospheric world of sound. The album merges the organic roughness of its source material with the cosmic float of dub techno, creating an immersive, emotive experience that balances detail and noise. Structurally, 'Syren' is split into two movements, 'Submerge' and 'Emerge', which conceptually guide the listener from dark, oceanic depths back to the shore.
