'Leaves to the Sun' finds the solo recording project of Alabama-based musician David Broome expanding on the downcast, introspective soundscapes of his earlier work. Rooted in the patient and often melancholic traditions of slowcore and Midwest emo, the album is characterized by its textured, self-produced arrangements. As Gawshock, Broome continues to operate as a singular creative force, writing, performing, and recording the material entirely on his own.
