Apiary

On their 2025 EP 'Apiary', the internationally-based internet band Gingerbee builds upon their emo and screamo foundations with a complex fusion of jazz, samba, and chiptune elements. [2, 3, 7] The album departs from their earlier lo-fi sound for a more streamlined production, featuring a vast instrumental array including violin, saxophone, and numerous percussion instruments alongside dual clean and screamed vocals. [2, 4] Created collaboratively over Discord by the multinational members, the work is noted for its sudden stylistic shifts and passionate, eclectic arrangements that blend digital production with live performance energy.
