A project from Gabe and Gus of the cult band Duster, 'Narrowing Type' is a beautiful and deeply melancholic instrumental record. The album explores the more atmospheric and ambient side of their main band's sound, blending the patient, lethargic drift of slowcore with the hazy, ethereal textures of shoegaze and dream pop. It's a perfect soundtrack for a lonely winter's night.
