Хвърковата чета cover art

Hajduk's full-length debut, 'Хвърковата чета', is a conceptual work centered on the 1876 Bulgarian April Uprising, specifically the cavalry detachment led by revolutionary Georgi Benkovski. The album adapts Bulgarian classical poetry and folk songs into a form of black metal that is simultaneously raw and aggressively melodic. This release from the solo project of Belgun uses the historical narrative of national liberation and struggle to create a sound that is both epic in scope and intensely personal.
