Commissioned for the 1995 Tromsø Polar Music Festival, this collaborative project blends rhythmic ambient techno with location-specific field recordings taken around the Arctic city. The icy, desolate soundscapes evoke the dark, sprawling winters of northern Norway. It represents a masterful fusion of environmental audio architecture and hypnotic electronic sequencing.
