Following the tragic death of founding bassist Sean Stewart, the remaining duo strips their industrial-tinged sound down to an incredibly sparse, skeletal minimum. The music relies on heavily delayed, ghostly drum machine loops and Jonnine Standish's lethargic, deeply sensual vocal delivery. The profound, suffocating emptiness of the production serves as a powerful meditation on grief and urban isolation.
