Ian William Craig's 'A Turn of Breath' is a stunning exploration of the human voice, manipulated through deteriorating analog tape loops. Craig, a trained opera singer, layers his vocals into choral swells that disintegrate into static and hiss, creating a sound that is both angelic and broken. It is a deeply moving meditation on memory, loss, and the fragility of physical media.
