Arising from the Boston post-punk scene, this instrumental ensemble, originally a side project of Mission of Burma's Roger Miller, merges classical rigor with the abrasive energy of rock. The debut full-length features a prominent, chaotic interpretation of Stravinsky's 'The Rite of Spring' alongside dense, rhythmic original compositions utilizing multiple keyboards and treated guitars. It acts as a pioneering bridge between contemporary classical minimalism and avant-garde punk rock.
