Vidar Vaaer's intensely isolating solo project pushed extreme minimalism to its absolute limits, delivering a ferociously raw, nearly unlistenable iteration of Norwegian black metal. The incredibly lo-fi recording is characterized by repetitive, two-chord punk riffs, completely blown-out distortion, and relentless, primitive drum machine loops. Its uncompromising, deeply misanthropic atmosphere made it a legendary, highly polarizing artifact of the true black metal underground.
