Teaming once again with Junior Boys' Jeremy Greenspan, the Canadian electronic artist delivers a wonderfully slick, minimalist exploration of R&B and futuristic synth-pop. The production is sparse and incredibly rhythmic, utilizing footwork and UK bass percussion beneath her airy, pitch-shifted vocal performances. It was praised for synthesizing 1980s freestyle pop with hyper-modern club sensibilities.
