This album finds tenor saxophone giant Joe Henderson embracing the emerging sounds of jazz fusion while retaining his post-bop sophistication. The title track is a powerful statement, driven by the funky Fender Rhodes of Herbie Hancock and Ron Carter's electric bass. Henderson's playing is as fiery and inventive as ever, but it's placed in a new, electric context that reflects the political and musical energy of the time.
