Adam Kalmbach’s immensely prolific solo project continues to shatter the structural boundaries of black metal through intense microtonal tuning systems. The album is incredibly dense and nauseating, utilizing bizarre time signatures, electronic sampling, and pitch-shifted guitars to create a profoundly alien, avant-garde soundscape. It remains a fascinating, highly academic challenge within extreme music.
