Gunnar Wendel's enigmatic debut full-length, released simply as 'Workshop 19', is a masterclass in dusty, hardware-driven outsider house. The incredibly loose, unquantized drum machine patterns and murky, lo-fi synthesizer loops create a raw, deeply hypnotic basement-club atmosphere that firmly rejects pristine digital production standards.
