Following production work alongside Björk, the Los Angeles sound designer delivers a wildly maximalist, overwhelmingly dense debut studio album. Gately constructed the record by layering dozens of manipulated vocal tracks on top of one another, utilizing found sounds and glitching electronics instead of traditional instrumentation.
