Korn III: Remember Who You Are

Korn III: Remember Who You Are cover art

For their ninth studio album, Korn reunited with producer Ross Robinson, who had helmed their first two albums, in an attempt to recapture their early raw energy. This was the band's first album to feature drummer Ray Luzier, and it was intentionally recorded without the use of Pro Tools to achieve a more organic, less polished sound. Despite the intention, both vocalist Jonathan Davis and Robinson later expressed dissatisfaction with the result, feeling the effort to recreate the past felt forced and ultimately "backfired".
