Recorded entirely using phones and tablets while the band members were isolated in cars and remote areas during a snowy winter, the prolific New York metal band embraced severe technological limitations. The resulting project features a completely blown-out, intensely lo-fi black metal sound interspersed with alien synthesizer passages. It stands as a fascinatingly raw, improvisational detour within their typically hyper-technical discography.
